Y’all need to bring back being able to order via the browser like Wendy’s & dominos !!!! Now the app doesn’t even work anymore for me because it wants me to upgrade my operating system which I don’t have the space to do !! Rude !

The app was unusable even after uninstalling and reinstalling I wasn’t able to use a single feature of it.

UPDATE 2/27/25: after updating the app, it will not function at all. Will not allow me to put order in. Disclaimer: this is a review for the app, not a particular restaurant location, nor the brand (although certain ppl at the brand are responsible for making the app, so, yea I've deleted the app for good. All around one of the worst IOS apps, everything about it just aggravates the living heck out of me, and they keep making it worst. They make zero attempts to take IOS native features into account, and thus I much prefer ordering on the browser. I could care less about the aesthetics of ordering my tacos, at least by using in browser, I have the advantage of being able to custom tailor my experience to block all the ridiculous pointless fancy bloatware that the app is stuffed with. My first complaint is poorly optimized code (GIANT app size), as well as HEAVY tracking. I immediately become skeptical when a fastfood app is constantly requesting me to allow location tracking while the app is FULLY CLOSED! I think even to request this is abusing the IOS developer feature to take advantage of non tech savvy ppl who do not understand the implications of agreeing to that (it doesn't benefit you in any way, it sends your location data 24/7 to taco bell servers, who sell it to lord knows what data brokers, not to mention allowing this feature means a lot of persistent background data and runs down battery.) But here is the thing that has been the final straw that I refuse to use the app ever again for, which is the constant initiation of IOS audio ducking feature. Totally an amateur design choice, and I cannot fathom why they still havnt corrected such a rookie mistake for over a year now. I mean why are yall even showing popup adds? The whole purpose of the app is to give you our money, so implementing freemium mechanics is kind of a disgusting practice, as if the acrylamide left in the food wasnt enough of a middle finger, yall cant even make a pleasant experience in your app. Im constantly listening to background audio on my phone, and due to the ridiculous popup boxes in this app that is muted by default yet still initiates "audio ducking" (why? Yall arnt accessing the microphone without permission are you? If not, then jesus TURN OFF the audio ducking so we dont get our music or background youtube vids auto paused every freaking 15 seconds of trying to order cheap food.) Its whatever though, im slowly getting used to the browser version where i can dns filter all tracker urls that it connects to (I counted over 90 third party connections from a 7 min use of the app once, thats despicable guys, even worst than mcdonalds app.)

Tired of the constant logout.

Fix your app jerks. It’s not that hard.

I hope you don’t want to listen to music while ordering food. The app immediately pauses any playing media when you open the app. Why?!

Won’t let me log in

Updated to version just released and now orders won’t go thru. Dies at payment processing regardless of method selected

App stopped working on my device about 3 months ago. Every time I try to place an order I get “default error” after I hit “place order”. I tried emailing customer support, who said “try removing your payment method and inputting it at time of purchase”. Inputting a payment method at the time of purchase is not an option. App was great about 6 months ago, now it’s trash.

Pray that your order is right while using this garbage app cause you won’t get any support. Even if they deliver to the wrong location.

This is the second time I’ve tried ordering on the app and it won’t process my payment but will charge my card. The app is updated and everything. I don’t understand.

I dislike this app immensely. Every time I have attempted to modify an order it does not save the changes to my order.

Keeps putting location when I keep switching it to address. Then when I switch to address it switches to pickup. I’m done. Deleting app asap

App never works. Charges my card. Then says problem with payment. Have to use DoorDash app to order. I have tried at different locations in case the one closest to me was the issue. Nope. It never works. Entered cards manually, Apple Pay. Never works.

The convenience of the app and earning rewards and getting the free food was making me go through Taco Bell‘s mobile pick up every single day before going to work since you’ve updated the app to where it has to have its 16 iOS which my iPhone is a iPhone 7 Plus and it only goes to 15.6 iOS but it has cut me down from going through your drive-through every single day and spending almost $25 or less OK this is gonna be my second time since you’ve checked the app away from me by making it and available to meet for having an old phone that I cannot afford to replace I’m not happy

Cant order online because taco bell app out of all alls need an ios update. A fast food app doesn’t need the latest software update

Whenever you open the app it plays the dumb bell noise loud and it either pauses or quiets your background music. It’s unnecessary and annoying

Tells you that a reward will appear in that section, and then it never appears. Even worse when it’s one with limited time or limited to a certain number of customers. Stop over complicating things.

Since the app is forcing us to update our phones to use, I will no longer be supporting Taco Bell. It’s ridiculous that they are doing This. Goodbye until this is fixed.

Was loving this app until all of my rewards points disappeared overnight. Had over 3000 points. Contacted Taco Bell to try to get assistance and no one ever even bothered to get back to me. Update: still never received any communication from Taco Bell, but somehow all of my points were added back to my account. Upgraded to four stars

I’ll update the app and still won’t let me use it says to update

They changed the login and now I don’t have my rewards points. I’m not happy about this. Find my rewards points and add the to my account.

It decided the Taco Bell that I was ordering from was closed. But I then walked in and ordered just fine. While that could be a simple glitch, there’s also the issue that it doesn’t show a menu. It shows a search bar. You type it in THEN it takes you to the menu. Which seems like pretty low effort, considering how easy their ordering screens are if you just order inside.

The dev response I just got made no sense. Answer didn’t apply. I got logged in I just hate having to check email to log in. See below. The new sign in requires you to check email to log in. It used to be username/password. Until this changes I will give 1 star reviews!

I like the rewards when they work

I keep having problems with the location of the store for mobile orders. Almost ever since time. Like every other apps it show you the most near location and automatically chose or notification that I have to choose from which location. BUT NOT ON THIS APP, maybe there is notification but its so small. The worst that you can't cancel order. When you a student even 5 dollars are count. If that will happent again I don't think that I will be wanna ever order from Taco Bell again. Now Im hungry and mad and don't have time to go to another store

I loved using the app, but recently it kicked me off because I have an IPhone 12 and not an IPhone 16.6 or later. You would think Taco Bell would want to maximize their app use across all versions instead of only the latest versions. I love Taco Bell, but not enough to get a new IPhone just so I can keep using the app.

I’ve had a number of issues lately. Logging me out constantly. Payment issues. But the biggest one I have is breakfast not being offered. The app registers that it’s breakfast. I get the breakfast logo and everything, but never the menu. I know it’s offered because I can go to DoorDash or uber and get it. I don’t want to do that. I liked the rewards but now I don’t even want to order anything from Taco Bell. Please fix this.

Download app, they send you email to verify and the email will not verify. Need to do more testing off the login procedure!

What kind of technology is TB utilizing. They sell horse hooves tacos. And these CLOWNS draw the line at iPhone 27? Jokers. Guess I’ll pull up and shoot a fart through the drive through window.

Without a cash payment option, this is useless. I want to order and pay when I pick it up, not before. What if I get hit by a bus on my way over? Will they credit me, if it’s already paid?

So, I plan ed an onlinee order for breakfast. Arrived at store well before breakfast had ended and was told they were out of breakfast!? To top that, I was told I would need to contact the app to cancel order. No way for store to refund or offer credit towards another meal. I attempted that while standing in store. Guess what.... There is no way to contact anyone through the app whatsoever. Then I was tole to call 1800 taco bell, which I did and they do not answer phones on weekend. Poor service from all of taco bell.

All I wanted was a breakfast crunch wrap and I was too late, please extend breakfast hours😖

Your update requires a version of iOS I can’t access. So now I can’t access the app. Thanks. Jerks. To clarify: it is not an issue with the login, I simply can’t update at all. It says it needs iOS 16.6 or later. I am unable to install the update on my phone, so I can no longer use the app at all. I can’t have Wi-Fi where I live either, I rely on mobile data. I’ve tried installing the iOS update somewhere with Wi-Fi before, but I was still unable to. Since I cannot download the update, I can no longer access the app.

Can enter order, but won’t ever take my payment. Simply says “Oops!” And that there was something wrong with accepting the payment. Tried several payment types. I gave up and ordered at the restaurant. Should not have to do that.

Prices are RIDICULOUS and you can’t cancel an order even SECONDS after placing it (I ordered two Baja Blast’s and it was $16.77 to get them ordered) so then I ordered one and it took 43 min and it was the closest location to me and ofc it was melted

I love the app and it normally works great. I updated today and now it’s not working right. It won’t let me look at the actual menu. And the things I can see it says the cost is $0.00. Also nothing can be added to bag. I gave 5 stars because I love Taco Bell and the app is normally great.

I don’t know what bug consistently happens but randomly I get logged out of the app. This has happened multiple times I haven’t updated anything. I haven’t changed anything so fix my phone constantly getting logged out because then I don’t see my rewards. One time I couldn’t remember the password so I lost an account stop log me out as soon as I earn a reward.

it’s ridiculous how many people have complained about your app not processing the orders but it has no problem processing the payment. THERES AN ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

Still makes me check my email to sign in instead of letting me use a password or Passkey. I have a password manager for a reason. The developer’s response on 2025-02-20 is completely unrelated. It offers no facility to enter a password, it forces using authentication links delivered by email.

Upped prices, made it seem like a better deal.

Sends spam notifications about promotions. No ability to disable these without disabling notifications about orders.
